Hello, My name is Teacher Ali. A graduate of Tourism Management, took up Professional Education afterwards and worked as a Social Studies teacher to high school students. Been in the BPO industry for a year and worked as an ESL teacher for quite sometime.
At first I don’t see myself as a teacher, being born as an “unica hija” in the family of professors, I decided that I’ll venture into a different profession. I graduated with a degree of Tourism Management that led me to experience the world of Hospitality. I thought that I’ll be happy but it turns out that it’s not for me. Then I shifted to another industry which is BPO. New environment, new knowledge and new life. Still, I’m looking for more. Something that is fulfilling and self-empowering and that is the time that I entered the world of teaching. For me, experience is the best teacher. And by using these experiences that I’ve had, I know that I can help someone become a better person not only mentally but also emotionally. I am not only going to teach English, I am going to teach them the beauty of it. The mystery of every letters and the joy of every words. English changed my life and I want to become an instrument for you to change yours.

I consider myself artistic, creative and resourceful that is why my hobbies ranges from music, history, nature and literature. I love reading books, listening to classical music, writing poems, going out with friends and being in touch of nature, some activities like trekking and island hopping. I am also a member of a prestigious mountaineering group here in our country.
My motto is “I’d rather have a rose on my table than diamonds on my neck.” by James Thurber.
In relation to teaching in English, it’s not about the material aspect that you get but the happiness you give. English is my favorite subject and I want you to feel the same. How? Let us both find out!
